Dear Calumet Farm Homeowner,
A new slate of nominees for the HOA has been established. Under the covenants and bylaws of the Homeowners association, officers should be elected for one year terms to the positions of President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. The covenants require that the officers be elected by a quorum representing at least 25% of the homes in Calumet Farm. . There will be only one vote per household. Please sign and return your ballot to the ballot box in Debbie Welling’s front yard (8635 Calumet Way) by Friday May 28, 2010.
The semi-annual meeting of the Association was held on April 14, 2010. Minutes will be available online at www.calumetfarmhoa.com. While you are visiting the website, make sure you are signed up in the Directory. We would like to have 100% of the residents signed up so that we may utilize it as a means of communication. The HOA is looking for someone to be our Webmaster; if you are interested please check the appropriate box on the ballot.
ODOT will complete the Montgomery Road expansion on the Calumet side by fall of 2010 (potentially August). The other side is expected to be completed by fall of 2011. We are looking for volunteers to serve on a landscape committee that will develop options and obtain estimates for renovating the front entrance area, to be presented to HOA members. If you are interested in serving on the committee, please check the appropriate box on the ballot.
Some residents have suggested that the HOA have social events. The HOA would love to have volunteers to assist in planning and organizing some children and adult events. If you are interested in serving on the committee, please check the appropriate box on the ballot.
The results of the election will be posted on our website and volunteers will be contacted by the Board.
Financial statements for full year 2009 and for 2010 through May are on the website. All 2009 dues have been collected. The invoice for 2010 Dues Assessment ($225.00) is attached. Please pay by June 30, 2010.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact one of the board members.
Sincerely,
The Calumet Farm Homeowners’ Association Board
